House Rules
- Dealer's Choice -- deal rotates, with hosting player dealing first. Dealer picks the game. New players to an ongoing session pick any empty seat but don't deal until at least a full cycle of dealing has been completed. Dealers choose the ante without restriction except those imposed by the chosen game (not higher than the maximum bet amount).
- $1.00 Maximum Bet ($.50 for 7-27)
- Maximum 3 Raises
- Bet What's on the Table -- except in pot-doubling games, players cannot add to the amount they have on the table during a particular game. If a player bets all he or she has on the table, that player is considered to be "all-in," and cannot win more than the amount of the pot at that moment in time. Subsequent bets should be kept separate.
- Tying Winners Split Pot/Shares -- remainder goes to called hand, and to high in high-low, or to handed winner in hand-hole card splits
- Table-Talk is Permitted -- indeed, almost encouraged (rather less encouraged from players who have folded)
